This is a cheap way for consumers to save large amounts of Fuel and money with little investment. Out of all the controls out there we like the Honeywell AQ475a and the Tekmar 260 . Besides saving at least 10% on Fuel guaranteed and making the home more comfortable , these two controls have multiple options such as a Priority control (circulator or zone valve for a indirect water heater),  Warm weather shut down, Outdoor reset which is regulating the boiler temperature according to out side temperature (major fuel savings here) and smart computing which will regulate the operating differential (which is normally set between 15 -30 degrees) According to the heat load which is how quickly the boiler is dropping temperature. Other units do not have this smart computing. How ever there is a control made by Beckett who guarantees at least 10% savings on fuel consumption with just the smart computing and without outdoor reset control.
