Air Conditioning
  • Air conditioning is a necessary component to a healthy living enviroment. We offer air conditioning at a dirt cheap price through out Centurion line. The Efficiency of Air conditioning is based on a Seer Rating. 10 Seer being the lowest. The differences between a 10 Seer and a 12 Seer on a 3 ton condenser (air conditioning) in New England is (1.) approximately $30. in savings per year on electricity. (2.) The physical size of the 12 SEER -is approximately 1/3 bigger than the 10 seer.
  • Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio or SEER. A measure of an air conditioner's cooling efficiency. The higher the SEER, the more efficient the product. The government's current established minimum SEER rating for air conditioners is 10.
  • The outside condenser exchanges heat that is stored inside your home for cold air through your furnace or air handler. The outside condenser then tries to blow the heat that has been collected onto the copper heat exchanger to the outside air. The bigger the heat exchanger is the better and more efficient it is to exchange the heat for cold air. Unfortunately the price of copper is expensive and so is the bigger heat exchangers (outside condenser). The best placement of a outside condenser is always in the shade. This alone is a huge help of efficiency. A outside condenser that is placed in the sun has to work allot harder to exchange the heat it collects and will cost more in electricity.
  •  Again we like the Centurion line of products for the Air Conditioning. The product is of excellent quality with quality parts and at a great price. For now we offer the 10 and 12 Seer products and will be offering 13 seer on
  • or before January 1 2006.
  • Two other components are the coil and furnace or air handler.
